All Boats on the Basin & Race-a-rade

Community Boating has offered ‘Sailing for All’ in the heart of Boston for over 75 years! To celebrate our 78th season on the water, we’ll be hosting the All Boats on the Basin Race-a-rade with the goal of getting as many of our 200+ watercraft on the water as possible. The race-a-rade is a parade race around the basin betwixt the Longfellow and Mass Ave bridges. We are calling on each one of you reading this to come down on Friday August 30th and join us. All Boats on the Basin Race $5 entry fee per boat. Proceeds from this fundraiser support our non-profit mission.

Registration opens at 3:00pm || Skippers Meeting 5:00pm || Racing Starts 5:30pm.

All proceeds go towards our Universal Access and Junior Programs. Our Universal Access Program allows those who need special assistance, whether it be physical or cognitive, to go out on the water. While our Junior Program allows children, ages 10-17, in the Greater Boston area to learn how to sail for as low as $1.
