Join us for the Raise the Sails Benefit on Thursday, November 12 from 6:30–10:00pm at The Liberty Hotel in Boston, as we celebrate 80 years of Community Boating and look ahead to the next 80.
Since 1946, Community Boating has been part of Boston’s history. From our boathouse on the Charles River Esplanade, generations of young people have learned to sail, built confidence, made friends, and developed a connection to the river and the natural environment. Today, we continue that work by making sailing accessible to people of all ages and abilities.
This year’s benefit shines a light on our youth and adaptive sailing programs, which open the experience of sailing to young people and people with disabilities. Support from this event helps provide scholarships, adaptive equipment, instruction, and opportunities for sailors who might otherwise not have access to the water.
Join members, alumni, friends, and supporters for an evening of food, music, and a silent auction at The Liberty Hotel. Help us celebrate 80 years of sailing in Boston and support the next generation of sailors and our growing community of adaptive sailors.
