In 2026, Community Boating, Inc. marks 80 years of public access sailing on the Charles River. For eight decades, CBI has been guided by a simple idea: Sailing for All. The Sail-a-thon honors that legacy while directly investing in what comes next. Help us reach our goal of $100,000!
For a full day and night, teams will keep their boats moving around the Charles River Basin, sailing as many laps as possible. Every lap is more than a mark rounded. It is direct support for youth learning confidence on the water, adaptive sailors finding freedom, and outreach programs reaching local schools and neighborhoods.
Funds raised through the Sail-a-thon directly power Community Boating’s mission of Sailing for All. Your participation or gift helps ensure that people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities can experience the confidence, freedom, and joy that comes from being on the water.
