Community Boating is undertaking a multi-year digital infrastructure project to improve customer and staff facing data systems. The Comprehensive Operational Management Platform for the Administration and Support of Sailing (COMPASS) will be the result of this project, streamlining customer experience for online and in-person transactions.

3/20/2025 Announcement – The Membership Online – Self Service Portal will be taken offline at 9:00 AM on 3/25/2025 to facilitate a change in payment processors. Once the portal comes back online, all transactions will be securely managed by the new payment processor, Square. You will notice a change in how transactions with Community Boating appear on your card statements. This update introduces digital wallet functionality to Membership Online allowing use of Apple Pay and Google Pay for checkout.

Following the update, gift card transactions will be temporarily unavailable while Square works to migrate existing records into their system. We have not yet received an estimate of how long this migration will take.

3/25 – Recurring donations and staggered payments offline **Community Boating does not directly store customer’s card information, because of this, the change in payment systems will necessitate customers utilizing stored payment methods for recurring donations or staggered payments to re-add their card information to the new system.**
